The Dodge Viper (recently renamed the SRT Viper), is the end result of Lamborghini coming together with Dodge. The fifth generation Viper (2012) has a V10 engine with 640 hp and is connected to a 6 speed manual transmission. Every Viper to date has followed this same format, a V10 engine with an excessive amount of horsepower and a 6 speed manual transmission to transfer all that power to the wheels. Over the years Dodge has continued to improve on their previous model and each new generation has had even more horsepower than the last. The base price for this car is $95,000. While this is not that much for a supercar that can go 0-60 in 3.3 seconds (with a manual transmission), bankrate.com named the Viper the most expensive car for repair costs in 2008. So look at the pictures and decide, do you think its worth it?
